MORPHO Z - Virpi Pahkinen
The title of this dance work comes from zoomorphic occultism. An emerald green meditation.
The geometry of the geometry goes to the winding river. The iron goddess of grace reaches out the braided root. The movement sounds gleam in the velvet of space.

In the work MORPHO Z, Virpi Pahkinen wants to investigate the desert as a place for spiritual geography. Both start from the sufistly contemplative and biblical trial desert to the experience of depletion, desertification, in contemporary human life, when everything seems to rush past without time for reflection.
AAJEJ - Virpi Pahkinen
Winds of all kinds have inspired one of Scandinavia's most original dancers and choreographers, Virpi Pahkinen, to a new dance work with world premiere at Dansens Hus.
AAJEJ gets its name from the North African whirlwind, so strong that the locals, according to the saying, have to fight it with swords.
